One of Rachel’s closest friends and colleagues, Enigma is delighted to welcome the fantastically talented Rosanne Jacobs. Rachel respects Rosanne hugely and is excited to have Rosanne supporting her with violin coaching and leading musicianship sessions.
Rosanne Jacobs is a London based violin teacher from Dutch origin. She graduated from the Conservatoire of Amsterdam in 2012. During her studies, she gained interest in education and community art and was one of the first students to specialise in this field.
Rosanne worked with the UN in Jordan to bring music to refugee camps, taught the violin in outreach programmes in Brazil and worked for several music education institutes in Amsterdam. She has played with several orchestras in the Netherlands and Brazil, but her passion for music really blossoms in her teaching.
She now runs Arco – Music for All: a not-for-profit violin school in London. Rosanne also works for London Music Masters, where she teaches musicianship, violin and gives university lectures on music education.
